B2 Swedish Course: Sverigekurs

Upper-Intermediate Swedish

Develop your Swedish through texts about Sweden, grammar practice, listening and pronunciation. This course is also known as Sverigekurs. Review the entry guidance and syllabus below to decide whether its level and focus match your goals.

Swedish B2 course is B1+/B2+ level course, upper-intermediate and advanced level. This course is also called “Sverigekurs“, Sweden course. The duration of the course is 60 study hours divided into 20 lessons plus 10 conversation sessions. The compulsory part of the course is 40 hours and conversation part (additional 20 hours) is recommended but not compulsory. Candidates participating in this course (SFC) must have the preknowledge that is expected when completing A2-level.

Intended Learning Outcomes

Candidates who have completed the Swedish B2 course are expected to know and be able to:

  • Read and understand longer texts (triple as much than A2), longer sentences.
  •  Read and understand different tenses (present, present perfect, past perfect, and future) 
  • Read and understand fact texts about Swedish history, language, culture and traditions. 
  • To know main verbs in different tenses and forms.

Swedish B2 covers everyday + upper-intermediate/ advanced vocabulary and phrases. The text types are Narrative/Factual

Comprehensive knowledge about Swedish nouns (groups) verbs, regular as irregular in different tenses, forms, groups, build and understand passive voice, present active participles, and perfect passive participle.

The main exercising form is listening, reading, pronunciation, and systematic grammar exercises.
Candidates can take this course both in real-time and at their own pace as a course.

As a student, you can apply for a certificate for any course you have passed at our school 

  • 15 ECTS
